The Real Spiritual Forces of Evil.

Fighting against “demons” the spiritual forces of darkness?

1 Corinthians 15:50

I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

When you see the words “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God”, it doesn’t mean you can’t enter it in your lifetime or that you must die first.

Let me tell you why.

You remember this.

Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against FLESH AND BLOOD, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The rulers and authorities are the Jewish religious leaders. They are not demonic beings.

What Paul meant is that our struggle is not against fellow Jews but the Law.

That’s what the spiritual forces of evil are.

Colossians 2:20

Since you died with Christ to the elemental SPIRITUAL FORCES of THIS WORLD, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules:

Galatians 4:3
So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental SPIRITUAL FORCES OF THE WORLD.

Galatians 4:9
But now that you know God—or rather are known by God —how is it that you are turning back to those weak and MISERABLE FORCES? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?

And this is what appears between the 2 verses in Galatians.

Galatians 4:4
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the LAW.

So that verse in 1 Corinthians 15 is not about waiting for a physical resurrection to enter heaven.

It actually means you can enter the kingdom through the staying under the old covenant.

That’s why 1 Corinthians 15 ends with:

1 Corinthians 15:56

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

As such what is perishable is the old covenant. What is imperishable is the new.

Paul said this in the same book.

1 Corinthians 7:31
those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away.

That is the old covenant world.

Hope that clarifies the muddy theology someone is painting.

  1. My name is Yandy , I’m struggling very bad right now with my faith , I have religious ocd . Can you please give me your email or email me at Yandyyoot@yahoo.com I have a question. Or you can answer it here . The Holy Spirit isn’t grieved by sinning , correct ? This has me terrified. If the Holy Spirit was grieved by sinning he would be sad 24/7 by the worlds sins . Please help me. Can you email me, please .

      1. Yandy. You don’t have to pay me anything. This is my email simepro@yahoo.com.

The text about grieving the spirit is from here.

        Ephesians 4:29-30

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Notice it’s not about lust. It’s about going back to the old covenant.

        It originates from here.

        Isaiah 63:9-10

In all their distress he too was distressed,
and the angel of his presence saved them.
        In his love and mercy he redeemed them;
he lifted them up and carried them
        all the days of old.
        Yet they rebelled
        and grieved his Holy Spirit.
So he turned and became their enemy
and he himself fought against them.

This part about turning about becoming their enemy is about how Jerusalem became politically aligned with Rome in Jesus’s generation.

That Jerusalem was destroyed in AD70. It has nothing to do with you.

As for your sexual sins, just stop doing it. It’s the guilt that is affecting you. Not the Spirit.

        Be set free.
