How Satan casted down 1/3 of the Stars.

There is a teaching that tells people Satan deceived 1/3 of the angels and made them into demons.

This is where they get the verse to support that teaching.

Revelation 12:3-4

Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to them to the earth.

Now read this.

Revelation 17:9-10

“This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.

Now look at the picture below.

After you have done that read the previous chapter where almost 1/3 of the Jews were killed.

Now would you still think the passage is about how Satan deceived 1/3 of the angels to defect?

Or

Do you think this was about how Nero ordered the massacre of the Jews and Christians in the Jewish Wars from AD68-70 which lasted 1260 days.

Finally read this.

Revelation 12:6

The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

And

Revelation 12:14

The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.

Enjoy.

  1. Hello Simon? Great job you are doing thru this ministry. I must admit I have done a lot of learning and unlearning and I ‘ be begun using the revelation and incredibke insights I’ve gathered from your sight to open the eyes of other believers. Not easy, but again it’s NOT by might, but by His indescribable grace! But it’s been a refreshing journey to just have to look into Scripture IN context, consider the time, culture and audience! Its marvelous! GOD bless you greatly and do great things thru’ you. Greetings from beautiful Kenya!
