The Lake of Fire debunked.

The Lake of Fire is talking about the 4 cities which surrounded Lake Asphalt. It’s a reference to the destruction of Sodom.

Deuteronomy 29:23

It will be like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboyim, which the Lord overthrew in fierce anger.

This is from Wikipedia.

“According to the Bible, Admah was one of the five cities of the Vale of Siddim. It was destroyed along with Sodom and Gomorrah.”

“The Vale of Siddim or Valley of Siddim (Hebrew: עֵ֖מֶק שִׂדִּים‎‎ ‘ê-meq haś-Śid-dîm; “Salt Sea”, “sea of the Arabah”,[

“east sea”,Arabic: Bahr Lut (the Sea of Lut), “Lake Asphaltitus”, “Dead Sea” is a biblical place name mentioned in the Book of Genesis Chapter 14: ‘And the vale of Siddim was full of slime pits’.

Revelation 11 actually tells you Sodom is a figurative figure for Jerusalem.

Revelation 11:8

Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city —which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified.

The Lake of Fire as such is about the destruction of Jerusalem in AD70.

It’s not you the hell you have told.
