If you lack understanding ask for it. People also say Jesus will rapture you when he comes in a cloud.
Look at these 3 verses.
For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until NOW – and never to be equaled again.
“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects YOUR people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until THEN. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book —will be delivered.
a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and blackness.
Like dawn spreading across the mountains
a large and mighty ARMY comes,
such as never was in ancient times
nor ever will be in AGES to come.
Jesus and Daniël are both clearly referring to the coming of a large and mighty army. That’s what coming in the clouds mean.
It’s the coming of Rome. How do we know that?
First the angel said it was Daniel’s people. It’s the Jews. Not a worldwide tribulation.
2nd look at the time line. Daniel says “from the beginning of nations until then.”
Joel says “such as never was in ancient times
nor ever will be in ages to come.”
Jesus says “unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.”
Daniël used the word “then” signaling a long time coming. Joel says “in ages to come”. Jesus says “until now”.
Jesus was referring to the great army of his day. Not ours. Until NOW. That’s Rome.
If that is not clear enough, you need a new brain.
