The ear itching doctrine.

I have been reading accusations made against grace and AD70 teachers. They quote:

2 Timothy 4:3-4

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Now guys. Let’s read this in context.
What is “sound doctrine” to Paul?

2 Timothy 1:13
What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus.

What is sound teaching?
2 Timothy 1:9

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

What there is not sound teaching that causing the itching of the ear?
2 Timothy 2:17-18

Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.

Now before you say this is AD70 teaching, please note this was written in AD61, 5 years before the siege of Jerusalem and the beginning of the 1290 days of Daniel 12: The date in which Michael told Daniel the date the resurrection will take place being AD70.

Paul then continues and said this.

2 Timothy 3:1
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.

Paul told them it was already the last days. In AD61.

So the resurrection was yet to happen in their time.

That’s why he said “Hymenaeus and Philetus say that the resurrection has already taken place before AD61, and they destroy the faith of some” is unsound teaching.

Please get these facts right. In fact Paul told Timothy to guard 2 things by hard.

Grace and AD70.
