You are told to reckon yourselves dead to sin. Not die to sin.

Does the Bible teach you to die to sin?
Many people do not realize that to die to sin is not actually your doing. It is Christ doing.
You are called to reckon you are dead to sin. You were never called to die to sin.
It is Jesus who died to sin. Your “dying to sin” is to believe that when he died, you also died. That’s how you become dead to sin.
Romans 6:10-11

For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
The Bible tells you that you are dead to sin. It does not tell you to die daily to sin.
Romans 6:2

By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
The Bible also tells you that your old self is already crucified and dead already. It does not tell you to crucify it daily.
Romans 6:6

We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.
So live the resurrected life!
