Where is Zion?

When people read this verse:
Matthew 24:31

And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
They think the elect are the chosen ones. They then begin to differ as to who is “chosen” or who is not.
The truth is that Jesus said the end is very much the days of Noah. Noah gathered the animals to repopulate the earth.
What we don’t understand here is Jesus was referring to the end of the Temple and the end of Jerusalem.
Hence the elect here is the remnant that God collected are the 144000 Jews before Jerusalem was destroyed in AD70. They were collected to rebuild Jerusalem.
They became the new Temple. They became the New Jerusalem. God moved from the Temple into them. They were His people, His Temple and His city.
They in turn brought the Gospel to us.
Revelation 7:1

The 144,000 of Israel Sealed

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree.
You can see here, how the Angels were waiting to collect the “elect”.
When this decree was ordered Vespasian paused his approach to Jerusalem and turned back to accept his crown after the death of Nero and his 4 successors.
These 144000 Jews left and escape the destruction of Jerusalem.
Revelation 7:4

And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
You can read then why they were unharmed.
Revelation 14:1

The Lamb and the 144,000

Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
Notice that there were already at Zion with the Lamb.
Revelation 14:4

It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb,
They were the first fruits. They were the 1st batch of Christians who left Jerusalem. Together with the multitudes of Gentiles in Revelation 7 they became the new habitation of God.
They became the new Temple and the new Jerusalem.
Revelation 21:3

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
That was how God first dwelt in man. Today He has continued to dwell in believers Jew or Gentile.
We are already at Zion. We are already Jerusalem 2.0. The new Jerusalem.
May that give you peace.
