The Devil only exists in our minds, we are now told. Evil does not belong to a creature. We are told now that it entered us and in our minds when we partook the fruit of good and evil and its all in our minds. We are told that Satan is a concept creature we call to personify this evil which is actually in our minds.
We are told when Satan tempted Jesus, it was the struggles that he had in his mind. While I agree that the alienation between us and God lies in our minds, but the verse in Colossians also mention in our deeds.
Well this note is going to be short and to the point.
Here are some questions I would like to ask:
King James Version (KJV)
9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
Remember Legion, the man infested with demons. Well we are told that it is in his mind as he was living in a grave yard. When Jesus cast demons out from him, the demons begged Jesus to put into the pigs. The pigs then jumped into the lake and drowned. We are told the mind is a powerful thing. Well I have this to say.
If the Devils are just in our minds, I find it a greater miracle, when Jesus cast out the demons from Legion and they went into the pigs, Jesus must allowed Legion to teleport his brains into many pigs causing them to jump into the lake.
Angels and Demons?
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
I suppose that Michael the angel also had to contend with his devil in his mind for the body of Moses? I see now angels are actually demons?
Jesus faced the Devil in his mind?
There are now people who say when the Devil tempted Jesus in the desert, it was Jesus struggling with the human nature inside him that “Satan” thus was in his mind. Dear friend, you are saying Jesus also partook of the fruit of “good and evil”?
Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
Just because a teaching sounds logical does not mean is the truth.
Our imaginations run wild again after 1000 years?
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison.
If Satan is in our minds, will we be imprisoned as well? Can my imagination be locked up for one thousand years? And then God places Satan back into my mind after 1000 years? To make me insane again?
Did Adam really introduced sin into creation?
1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
The words “from the beginning” here means it “originated from” ar-khay’. It does not mean man in the originator of sin. Satan is. Sin did not come into creation through Adam. Sin may have entered into this world through Adam but it did not find its origin in him.
Let me just finish this short note by quoting the Usual Suspects. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn’t exist. Just because a teaching feels good, it is not necessary true.
